一.What’s a tunnel industrial oven?

A tunnel industrial oven, also known as a tunnel oven, is a kind of continuous-path automatic baking equipment. The overall length of the machine is long, and the furnace body is segmented. Uneven installation or skew of the track can easily lead to belt deviation and wear. The tightness of the machine is also required during installation. If the assembly is not in place, the hot gas will always leak during operation, affecting the temperature control in the oven; there are too many pipelines on the machine. Improper installation will lead to a poor smoke exhaust effect, which will affect the baking effect and even damage the equipment. 二.Preparations before installation

Before the formal installation, the following preparations shall be made:

1. Site selection: First, select a place according to the size of the machine. The ground in this area shall be flat (leveled or supplemented if not flat) and have reserve space for operation and maintenance (at least 60-80 cm on each side). Ensure convenient power connection. Reserve space for feeding conveyors or other front and rear machines according to different requirements, and clean the site before placing.

2. Exhaust preparation: install the fan and exhaust duct in advance, align the interface with the air position of the tunnel grate, and directly exhaust the flue gas generated by baking to the outdoors to avoid the circulation of flue gas indoors.

3. Check tunnel oven parts: check all parts and observe whether each furnace body and mesh belt are collided with or deformed.

4. Tool preparation: prepare the wrench, level gauge, tape measure, screwdriver, forklift, and other tools required during installation in advance.

三.Installation steps of tunnel-type industrial oven

1. Furnace body splicing: First, place each furnace body in a row with a forklift truck in order. Note that a gap shall be left between two adjacent furnaces, and then align the locating pins and holes of each furnace body one by one.

2. Sealing and fixing of furnace body: insert high-temperature-resistant sealing strip at the gap between two adjacent furnace bodies, apply sealant, and then fix each furnace body with bolts. Observe whether the furnace body is horizontal and aligned during the fixing process. After fixing, install the shell cover plate and heat insulation curtain at the inlet and outlet.

3. Installation of conveyor: First, assemble the rack and idler, and then lay the net belt or chain plate. Adjust the tension after laying and leveling to make the net belt loose properly without deviation. Then install the motor and reducer and add lubricating oil;

4. Installation of internal components: install the deflector, air duct, fan, heating tube, temperature sensor, etc. in the furnace according to the drawings or instructions provided by the tunnel oven factory;

5. Pipeline installation: align the exhaust duct with the exhaust outlet of the furnace body for installation, and connect the air duct and fan; install the condensate drain and lead it to the drain.

6. Circuit wiring: connect the power bus and ground wire and wire and arrange each system in order according to the circuit diagram. The wiring shall be reasonable, away from the high-temperature area and neat as far as possible.

7. Machine test: check whether each component is firmly installed and whether the wiring is correct again, then power on and start the machine to see whether the machine operates normally without load. If there is no problem, carry out a physical machine test.

四.Common installation problems and solutions

1. Misalignment of furnace body after splicing

Solution: It indicates that the furnace body is not aligned during splicing. First check whether each locating pin is aligned. Find out the misaligned one and adjust it. If the location of the locating pin is correct, check whether each anchor is aligned vertically.

2. The net belt deviates and slips

Solution: The mesh belt deviation may be caused by the non-parallelism of the front and rear rollers or the difference in the left and right tension of the mesh belt. First check whether the front and rear rollers are parallel. If not, correct the parallelism. Then check whether the left and right tension of the mesh belt are consistent. If not, turn the tension handles at both ends for adjustment; Slipping of a net belt is generally caused by too loose tension, which can be adjusted properly.

3. The fan vibrates and makes loud noise during operation

Solution: It is generally caused by the loose fixing of the fan. The fixing bolts of the fan need to be tightened again. If the vibration is still large after tightening, the rubber shock pad needs to be installed. If the noise is still loud during operation, check whether it is caused by the instability and shaking of the fan blades.

五.Precautions for Use of Industrial Tunnel Oven

1. Before startup, check whether the wiring and tunnel oven parts are firmly installed, and then check whether there is debris on the net belt.

2. When starting the machine, start the fan and conveying motor first, and then start the heating for heating after operating for 3-5 minutes. It is prohibited to start the fan after heating to avoid dry burning.

3. The heating shall be preheated and conducted in sections. Do not directly adjust the temperature to a very high level. Too fast a heating speed may easily cause damage to the heating tube.

4. Keep the temperature in the furnace roughly constant, and then place the materials for baking so that the effect is more stable.

5. During manual feeding, the products shall be placed evenly with proper spacing and no overlapping, so that the baking effect will be uniform.

6. In case of any peculiar smell or noise during operation, shut down the machine immediately and cut off the power for inspection, and remove the products on the network belt.

六.Routine maintenance and service

1. Each time after production and shutdown for cooling, the net belt shall be cleaned to avoid residual oil stains, food chips, etc.

2. Regularly remove dust from the shell and furnace body to avoid too thick dust affecting the heating effect.

3. Regularly add high-temperature-resistant lubricating oil to all transmission parts (such as driving roller, driven roller, bearing, chain, etc.) on the conveyor belt to ensure smooth operation.

4. Regularly clean the filter screen of the exhaust pipe to avoid blocking and affecting the exhaust smoke.

5. Regularly check whether the sealant is cracked or fallen off and whether the insulation curtain is aged or damaged, and repair or replace the sealant in time.

6. When the machine is not used for a long time, please make a dust cover after cleaning.
