The gummy candy production line is a fully automatic production line for gummy candy production. It achieves full automation in sugar cooking, cooling, gel adding, depositing, cooling, demolding, and conveying. According to different market demands, the production line can produce gelatin soft candies, pectin soft candies, carrageenan soft candies, filled soft candies, single-color soft candies, two-color soft candies, and multi-color soft candies. By changing molds, the production line can also make soft candies of different shapes and sizes.

I. Working principle and process of cotton candy production line

II. Composition of the Production Line

1. Sugar pot: Heat and boil the ingredients such as water, syrup, and granulated sugar until they are transformed into a smooth and uniform sugar liquid without any particles.
2. agitator tank: The boiled sugar solution is cooled by circulating cold water. After cooling, gelatin is added and stirred to dissolve.
3. Storage Tank: By using the insulation of the storage tank and maintaining a uniform stirring speed, the sugar solution is prevented from cooling and solidifying, thus maintaining its excellent fluidity.
4. Rotor Pump: It is used for the transportation of materials between containers. The rotor pump can gently convey the sugar solution without damaging it.
5. Color Pump & Flavor Pump: Conveying pigments and flavorings into the pipeline and thoroughly mixing them with the sugar solution can enhance the aroma and color of the resulting soft candies.
6. Depositing Head: The sugar solution is evenly and quantitatively injected into the mold. With the built-in retraction function, it reduces material waste, avoids wire drawing, and is safer and more hygienic.
7. Cooling Tunnel: Cool the gummy candies at a low temperature and shape them to ensure a chewy and elastic texture.
8. Demolding Device: Remove the finished gummy candies completely from the molds, and the empty molds continue to be used for further cycles to achieve continuous production.
9. Conveyor Belt: Deliver the finished candies to the discharge port in an orderly manner.

III. How does the production line make gummy candies?

gummy production process:

When starting the production process, first prepare the water, syrup, and white granulated sugar in the required proportions and pour them into the sugar-boiling pot. Turn on the heating and stirring, and heat the materials to 112℃ – 120℃ to ensure complete dissolution (Note: If using carrageenan and pectin, the carrageenan/pectin should not come into direct contact with water, as they are prone to clumping and forming lumps). When adding them to the sugar boiling pot, add the carrageenan/pectin first to the bottom of the pot, then add the white granulated sugar on top of the carrageenan/pectin, then add the syrup, and finally add the water.

The boiled sugar solution is pumped by a rotor into the cooling mixing tank. The cooling mixing tank cools the sugar solution through the cooling water in the shell. After cooling to 70℃, gelatin is added for stirring and dissolution. After dissolution, the solution is pumped by the rotor to the storage tank for storage and standby. The sugar solution in the storage tank is pumped by the rotor. The color and flavoring agents are pumped by the color pump and flavoring pump. The sugar solution, color, and flavoring agents are mixed in the pipeline. After mixing, they are injected into the hopper of the whipping head in a quantitative manner through the injection mechanism and then sent into the cooling tunnel for cooling and shaping. The cooled and shaped candies are pushed out of the mold by the ejection device onto the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt then transports the candies out.

V. Daily Cleaning of Gummy Candy Production Line

1. After daily production, discharge the unused sugar liquid from the machine first.
2. Add hot water above 80°C (boiling water is best) into the sugar-cooking pot, turn on the rotor pump, and let the hot water circulate inside the whole production line. Repeat the above steps 3–5 times to fully dissolve and discharge the sugar liquid inside the machine with hot water.
3. After hot water rinsing, dry the equipment with compressed air or air-dry it naturally. Make sure to drain all water inside the equipment to prevent bacteria growth caused by accumulated water, which will affect the next production.

VI. Precautions for Daily Use of Gummy Candy Production Line

1. Ensure that the voltage is correct. Connect to the voltage matching equipment to avoid damage caused by inconsistent voltage.
2. Before starting the machine, verify whether all screws are loose, especially the mold fixing screws. It is recommended to inspect once a week.
3. Maintenance of rotating parts can only be performed when the machine is stopped. Please do not perform maintenance on the machine while it is in operation.
4. Before production starts, the storage tank needs to be filled with water in the interlayer. During the production process, water should be replenished regularly to prevent the interlayer from running dry and causing damage to the machine due to dry burning.
5. Add heat transfer oil to the depositing hopper before startup. Replace the heat transfer oil every 2–3 months according to usage to prevent carbonization, which reduces heat transfer and may burn the heating tube.
6. Carefully clean the machine before and after production, especially the pipes and hopper, to avoid contamination caused by poor cleaning.
